Minutes of the First Meeting:
Attending: Mark and Laura O, Lisa Z, Dave C, Eric M, Danielle W, Dan Q, Lorraine P-S, Borden, Curt G, Harold H, Colleen C .
- Discussion involved around the guts of the creative process, which is a combined input method though active participation in the V&K Forums. Everyone was encouraged to visit, register and post a brief description of their character and what they are up to. Everyone was asked to check this site regularly for updates.
- A planned 8 episode season, with weekly shooting on Tuesday nights was accepted.
- News of a daily 50,000 plus internet podcast audience was touted.
- Aims for a more “10pm” TV content was discussed and met with mixed concerns and approval.
- Slicker production – faster, smarter and sexier story lines and story arcs – were touched upon.
- A planned open audition for new talent and crew with a newpaper ad and a Brockvlog story were tossed about.
- The search for Barry Whiteland and Mike’s Trussell and Frisk were initiated (Trussell later met up with us on the street).
- Meeting was adjourned.
